books about fish

Last week we learned about fish and its environment. We had great time reading books and doing puzzles. I also asked my children to help me to clean a huge fish to prepare the dinner. They studied fish anatomy through cleaning it. I also offered a simple home made puzzle.

Today I found a Nice website that contains a huge number of resources to download for free. This website is full of downloadable activities that will help you to teach your preschooler  reading and counting. There are also some activities that are related to some famous picture books.

This book will teach your toddler to count to ten. The only criticism I have is that as a counting tool I would like to see maisy counting the same object or at least some easily identifiable objects since it is a book for toddlers.
